Direct Debit is a familiar, long-established and widely trusted payment method. Lots of organisations use Direct Debit to collect money from their customers because it is safe, cost-effective, can reduce administration and it puts the organisation in control. Likewise, consumers often choose Direct Debit as a payment method for regular bills as it means they don’t have to take an action to pay, it saves time and it’s known and familiar. There were 4.7 billion Direct Debits by volume in 2022 and this is expected to grow in coming years.

For New Starters

Collecting company income and managing customer relationships is a big responsibility. Ensure new staff understand the 'why' and 'how'.

As A Refresher

The Rules are updated every year as a minimum. Keeping staff up to date will ensure your processes remain compliant and streamlined.

When Processes Change

When introducing new software or processes, (e.g. AUDDIS or Paperless DDs) ensure you have the correct knowledge to get it right first time.

Last month, I attended the Bacs Accredited Direct Debit Training course that was excellently delivered by Gavin Lawrence and Debbie Lane at Movimo. The training was engaging, well-structured and well-delivered, making it easy to grasp even complex concepts around the essential processes of Bacs, Direct Debits and Bacs Reporting. Gavin and Debbie's expertise and valuable insights were greatly appreciated by our team. Everyone who attended the training took something from it and have all given me positive feedback. Highly recommended.
